Half mile warm then 10 mile lung busting hill tastic run, twice around the Bate Mill with four brutal hills fact fans.
In attendance:
Stu, coming back from a groin strain but strong over the 10, particularly on the hills
Tony and Simon tagged along for a first few but a bit too quick up the hills for them
67:41 - Splits for the 10:

Back to my desk and Adam tells us that distance running ace Steve Way is up at our office for a short period. He’s promised to pop out for a run but he’s coming back from injury at the moment - he’ll be in good company, four of our regulars are in the same boat. Check Steve’s website out: http://www.steveway.co.uk/
Might do the Warrington Runners Woolston 10k tomorrow. Done it last year just before I bust my fibula and the tibia. Not the quickest course, quite a lot of turns and multi terrain but still managed a PB. Admittedly I was nowhere near as, ahem, dedicated as I am now so I’ll see how I feel tomorrow. Really want to do well at the Trafford Grand Prix 3k next week so might keep my powder dry for that. Probably wont though, cos I'm daft like |
